Commissioning Engineer (m/w/d) Control Systems
Your Job Description
- On-site technical execution of HVDC commissioning (IBS) in a timely and cost-efficient manner
- Integration tests and functional tests of HVDC control systems in the test center
- Preparation and execution of test procedures for converter and pole control systems, including documentation
- Planning, execution, and evaluation of workshop tests at subcontractors
- Supporting the commissioning management in quality, risk, and claim management as well as participation in continuous improvement programs
Your qualification profile
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Knowledge of HVDC systems, power electronics, high-voltage engineering, and control engineering
- Desirable: MATLAB/Simulink, Siemens SIMATIC TDC/S7, CFC
- Experience in engineering, testing, and commissioning of control, protection, and automation systems
- Good German and English language skills
- Willingness to travel worldwide, including offshore assignments
